● Statue of Liberty - this awesome NY's statue has moved to Liberty City. You can find it on new island near the Kenji's casino (it's even marked on radar!), so you must use a boat to get there. There are some useful historical and technical information on statue's pedestal. If you want to see whole Liberty City from the birds-eye, use stairs to get into statue's head or torch! But don't fall down!
● Player of previous version of RGTA suggested a great idea - jump ramp to Liberty Island. So it's in the game. Just take very fast car and try to be accurate in targeting the ramp - go wrong speed or direction and you won't land by the Statue of Liberty...you will fall into water. There's a boat by the Liberty Island ready to get you back to Staunton (you must start new game - boat won't be there if you load non-RGTA save games).
● New bridge - it is placed in Shoreside Vale and it's VERY useful, because it connects your hideout to the main road near the Francis Int. Airport. If you use Yakuza's Toyota Supra Veilside, you can get to Staunton from Shoreside in few seconds!!!

If you find GTA III’s default weapon nothing but mere pop guns and crave real guns, Real GTA III adds real world weapons as tools for your virtual psychotic behavior. MP5, Desert Eagle, UZI KG-9, Shotgun Battle 7, Sig551, Rocket launcher M79, Sniper Rifle PSG-1, L2A2 grenades are added to your arsenal to torture Liberty City citizens.

Story Missions in GTA III: Portland

Claude is betrayed by his girlfriend Catalina when she shoots him during a bank heist, leaving him for dead. He survives and is arrested, but on the way to the penitentiary, the Colombian Cartel ambushes the convoy to kidnap another prisoner, destroying the bridge in the process and isolating the island of Portland from other parts of Liberty City, and he and another prisoner named 8-Ball manage to escape. With his new allie, he eventually forms a connection with the Leone family by destroying the neighboring Triads and Forelli family. He finds out that Catalina has become a co-leader of the Colombian Cartel, and eventually destroys their ship filled with the drug SPANK. However, Salvatore Leone has grown paranoid and no longer trusts easily, so when Maria lies and says that she and Claude are having an affair just to spite him, he sends Claude to his death by planting a bomb in a car he ordered Claude to take away. Maria finds out and warns Claude just in time and, along with Yakuza leader Asuka Kasen, they leave Portland on a boat to Staunton Island.

• Introduction: Cutscenes depicting Catalina's betrayal of Claude, and the explosion which leaves Portlandisolated from the rest of the city and Claude's escape with 8-Ball.

• Give Me Liberty: Go to the hideout, before going to Luigi's club with 8-Ball.

• Luigi's Girls: Drive to the hospital and bring Misty to Luigi's club.
• Don't Spank Ma Bitch Up: Kill a drug dealer and steal, respray and deliver his car to Luigi.
• Drive Misty For Me: Pick up Misty from Hepburn Heights and drive her to Joey's garage.
• Pump-Action Pimp: Kill two pimps.
• The Fuzz Ball: Bring as many prostitutes as possible to the Old School Hall.

• Mike Lips Last Lunch: Steal and arm Mike Forelli's car with a bomb and blow him up.

• Van Heist: Damage and steal a Securicar and bring it to a garage in Portland Harbor.

GTA3 Anniversary: Tips

9Game: This article is about GTA 3: Anniversary for Android. Here are some cheat codes for you to learn more about this action game.

Tip #1: Play the game in reverse - first collect all hidden packages (see Tip #2), do all firetruck, police car and ambulance missions and then go for the missions, as you'll have full arsenal of guns, 6 stars and a heart next to your save place. Also, you'll have an endless sprint, which can be very helpful at times.
Tip #2: To get to second and third islands without cheats, see this video. It could be a bit tricky as you need to go forward, sprint and jump at the same time, which on Rena3 is impossible (2-point multi-touch, and you need 3), but with practice you'll get it when to stop sprinting and jump. After you are in 2nd island, you can get to the 3rd by car - underwater tunnels.
Tip #3: To get the last hidden package (the one that's on the bridge between 2nd and 3rd island) and unlock Rocket launcher, you'll have to learn to fly the Dodo and land on top of the broken bridge. It it's possible, land on your top, to destroy your Dodo, as it'll be much easier to jump to the package.
Tip #4: Use GTA3 100% Completion Checklist to track your progress till 100%.
Tip #5: When doing police car missions, there is a trick to make your target stop and get out of the car - when you are close to him, press back button (to go to menu) and then resume the game. That's it! He'll stop and get out of the car, so you can easily kill him. If it's now working, try again from a longer distance (sometimes it's not working when you are too close).
Tip #6: When doing firetruck mission DON'T turn your water gun. Never! You just go straight ahead and hit the target while pumping water - aim at the engine. This will extinguish the fire immediately.
Tip #7: When you get to do Kenji missions, do them first, I won't tell you why (you'll see) or you won't be able to do 100% completion.
Tip #8: When doing "A Drop in the Ocean" mission, get an FBI car, which you'll need for EV crane. FBI car is the only vehicle not parked anywhere. If you do not get it now, you'll have to reach high wanted level later to get it.
Tip #9: After you complete Ray's missions, use his Patriot to drive around Portland, as it's bulletproof (it's available in my saves below).
Tip #10: Last mission is pretty easy if you have Sniper rifle and Rocket launcher, so after cut scene showing Catalina's chopper, jump down the hill and go to you save place to get you ammunition and then go to the dam and finish the mission - shoot cars and trucks with your RL and columbians with your SR. In the end, shoot down the chopper with RL, go up the stairs, where the columbian snipers were, and shoot all columbians on the roof next to Maria. Now you are ready to meet Maria and finish the game, without a single health lost.
